2017’s NEW VENUE

STAGES PDX is all about helping entrepreneurs take their company to the next ‘stage’ of the startup lifecycle. Each stage offers challenges that are faced by founders at the same stage, regardless of their industry. STAGES empowers entrepreneurs to move through these stages, from Build to Launch to Grow to Give back to the community.

Last year the STAGES PDX conference itself went through its Build Stage. We tested the hypothesis: “If we cut out all the ‘hype’ and ‘motivational’ speakers, focused on finding speakers who were experienced entrepreneurs, focused their talks on things faced at a specific ‘stage’ of a companies life cycle, and made sure each talk left entrepreneurs with tangible takeaways & next steps.

This would deliver extreme value for entrepreneurs who attended and increase their chances to take their company to the next stage. Based on the feedback of our attendees we have proven our hypothesis.

This year, we are in our ‘Launch Stage’. This means establishing our brand, fine tuning our product offering, capturing the excitement of our loyal customers, and gaining visibility. To help us accomplish this we have found an exceptional venue. The Evergreen occupies the former historic Orient Lodge, No. 17 situated in Portland’s central east side. It has been beautifully remodeled, holding onto the charm of the neighborhood and its history while creating an extremely photogenic backdrop for STAGES PDX 2017.
